Studio Update: Kathleen McGiveron

Hello! So as you can see in the above images, my studio is in full blast production mode. I have an announcement I can make hopefully next week, which I could make now but I want sweet images to go with it. I am going on a whimsical spree of making, loving the kawaii to work into my art... so funny! I love the contrast between cute animals and disturbing things... I love how provacative it is! As you can tell, I've expanded my work from my series work and now have two new collections I've added to my production: my Mini Collection and my Heads Collection. The minis are all mini one-of-a-kind sculptures and the Heads collection start from molds I've created, then I add elements to them such as tusks, ears, and other fun things that make them one-of-a-kind... such as the cat's eye patch in the picture.
